Claire Son, the founder and director of CYD, began her career as a Store Designer at Lululemon Athletica in 2004, where she developed spaces that were not only visually appealing but also highly functional. Afterward, she broadened her expertise as a lighting consultant, project manager, and collaborator with builders. In 2014, she took the leap to establish her own design company, CYD Design Group Inc. Her goal was to create spaces that are not only beautiful but also functional, comfortable, and accessible to everyone.
Above all, Claire came to believe in the power of space to elevate quality of life and bring about positive change. She realized her true calling was to use her creativity and design skills to make a lasting, positive impact on people's lives.
Today, CYD is a thriving design company with a team of talented designers who share Claire's dedication to crafting beautiful and functional spaces. Together, they work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and create spaces that consistently exceed expectations.
